I am SUPER excited about our whale watching tour we are going to take while in California next week. Here's the link. http://www.sanctuarycruises.com/ The pictures are AMAZING!!!
I ordered the portable DVD player and a new camera ( mine has been busted for a while) today online. LOL I noticed they may arrive after we leave. I'm praying Walmart is on the ball and I receive the items earlier than later. :) (I couldn't purchase at the store as these were online items only) It seems that items seem to arrive on the earlier dates when we order stuff, so I am hopeful. I mean we're in TX. It's not like it's Alaska! :)
I've also started making the long list of items we will need. Lots to do in the next week!
Ryan will be roping next Tuesday in the Wharton County Fair. I am glad to see him get back to roping. He went to practice with some guys last night. He said him and badger are out of shape! HA! Twister needed some tuning, but then got right back to his bad a$$ self. :) Love that horse!
I've been too busy (ok, really, procrastinating) on selling Cowgirl. I need to put her up for sale online. I just haven't done it yet. It will be good to sell her, but I will be REALLY sad to see her go.
The rent house issue is almost handled. Ryan has to file more papers (and money) today to get the court system to move the girls stuff out and hold it ransom. Blah. But, I hope to get in there this weekend to pull up the carpet. We are hoping there are no cracks so we can stain the flooring and call it good. It looks really nice stained and will be much cheaper than other floorings. So, hopefully that will work out.
Oh, we did have a lady contact us about owner finance/rent. Not sure if we'll do it, but we will talk to her and see what she has to say. I was very blunt with her letting her know how bad our luck is with this house. I would like to sell it, but cash flow is low and it would be nice to get it built back up again and then maybe sell it.

Shoes
So the Boudrie's are gearing up for our trip to Santa Cruz, CA. That means some shopping for us girls. So yesterday Shelby and I went to JCPenney's to see what deal we could find. One of the things I needed was a pair of sandals. So we head to the shoe dept. To look at shoes.
Shelby had been sitting in her stroller for a little while so I thought I'd let her out and let her walk around while I looked at shoes. As soon as I let her out she honed in on a pair of purple flip flops with butterflies on the top. They were cute! She pulled a pair of the rack, pulled her sandals off (after I had just put them on) and started putting them on. They were huge so I found the smallest sz they has (8s) for her to try on. (she wears a 3) She was dragging those big shoes around on her feet and wouldn't let me take them off. After I found what I needed I put her and the shoes in the stroller. She hung on to them the whole rest of the while til we got to the cashiers. I thought for sure she was going to lose it when I had to take them away.
They were pricey so I was glad they didn't fit cuz we would've been coming home with them.
Here are a couple of pics. They aren't real good cuz she moves to quick for my iPhone. But they are still cute!
We are so in trouble with this girl an shoes! LOL

Hanging with Roo
It is scary how quickly my week have been passing lately. I found myself in our room with my make cat on what has become a fridy night with what feels like a blink of an eye.
Ryan went to court for the rent house on Thursday. The judge judged in our favor. Now we wait again and hope renter moves out. At least the end is in site.
We are excited about our trip to CA. The timing is terrible but who knew we'd have the rent house issues 4 or so months ago. The break will be really nice.
Well, to be honest, I don't feel like writing too much tonight. So I am going to keep this short. Not much to update on anyhow.

Long Time
I am sorry it has been so long since I have written. We have been busy with life ad my mind has been consumed with our rent house issues.
We are still trying to get the girl to get her stuff out of our house. She hasn't lived there in at least a month but all her things are there. The joyous part (I say with sarcasm) of renting is following the law. And the law doesn't move very quickly.
We are at our 3rd step for the eviction and we go to court this next week. If things go as planned we will get the official eviction and she will have to be out within a short time period decided by the judge. If she doesn't comply we spend more money and go back to court.
I am hoping within 2 wk we'll be able to finally get control of our house again. We'll then have to clean up the damages (more money) and finally put it up for sale.
I had to pray a lot on this experience. I had a lot of anger and frustration. I seen my families finances go down the tube with this girl and this house.
Luckily, I realized I couldn't fix this and it was out of my hands so all I had left was prayer and God.
I follow a Mobile Ministry on Facebook and I received Philippians 4:6-7 - to summerize it says to put all your trust inGod and His peace will surpass all understanding. - it is a great verse. Go back to your Bible and read it, pray on it, then believe it!
I prayed about this verse and realized God has never left us without. Our bills have always been paid. So God was either going to sell this house or provide us with the income to stay afloat w/two mortgages.
I was desiring a quick sale, but it doesn't look that way as the girl is still in the house.
Ryan's work load has doubled and so has his income. PTL! God is in the drivers seat and we will find a way to pay for it all. I Am still praying for a sold house next month, but this will work too.
I have decided to be bold and ask God for a profit when this house is sold. I feel he wants to give that to us so we can catch up and get ahead a little. I will continue to pray for that, but will go with what is layed on my heart and rejoice in it
I guess I tell you all of this to say God can do all things. My anger about this situation was really getting to me. Then I read that Bible verse and it became so clear. I still worry. I still fret, but I am no longer sick to my stomach wanting to throw up.
If you pray, plz pray for our family
1. We do what God desires as his way is always better.
2 we cont to be given the finances to pay for both homes
3 we make a profit on the rent home
4 ryan and I work together in this adventure.
I have learned to be specific. Funny story. A friend of mine was praying for her family to move to Austin (TX). She didn't specify a state and God moved them to Austin, PA. She said she told God that wasn't funny. she has also learned to be more specific when praying. :-)

Indian Paint Brushes
We have a ton of these flowers behind our back pasture. They are Indian Paint Brushes and are very popular in Texas in the spring. I was so excited this dress went perfectly with the colors. I'm going to take some more tomorrow or this weekend with Shelby's hair in pigtails. She looks so cute with her hair up. But, I was anxious to get these pics so I took her out last night. :)

Easter weekend
Click on Shelby's link to see pictures of her on her Easter Egg hunt.
I started my Good Friday and long weekend with slicing my finger while cutting cantalope. Ouch. I got about 8 stitches inside and 6 outside.

Day 2 - looking better

Shelby is thinking about changing religion. Oh wait, nevermind, those are daddy's shorts. She love to put clothes on her head and crawl around.
On a side note she is walking (and stubbling) around a lot more. She can get real focused and determined when she is motivated by things like puppies or other animals.

Ryan was sitting on an incline and gravity got the best of him. My quick thinking got me a pic of it! Ha.
We were camping in Glenn Flora with some friends for the Easter weekend.

Had to share pics of the crawfish. I still think they are gross.

Easter morning. Shelby got an Easter crate instead of basket cause Easter bunny knew she needed something to hold her books.

This is the stroller we got after the wheel fell off of it. Gotta luv Craig's List!
